Marco Corti

 

Currently based in Singapore and Switzerland, Kemistry of Style was launched in 2001 by Marco Fabrizio Corti, a respected architect with a background in both product and interior design and a considerable amount of experience in furniture garnered over many years. Upon graduation in 1987 from Politecnico di Milano in Architecture, he became the Marketing Manager with market leaders such as Tecno, Capellini and B&B over the years. Marco Corti finally established Kemistry of Style in Milano. He has also held conferences and lectures about marketing and furniture design for Politecnico del Design, Bocconi/SDA University and NUS Singapore. Over the last few years, Kemistry of Style has been responsible for the looks of a number of architectural and interior design projects in Italy, Singapore, Asia region and Middle East.

Savina Nicolini

 

Founder of savina nicolini I architetto, an interior design practice based in Singapore since 2009. Savina Nicolini’s expertise covers a wide range of areas including hospitality, retail, wellness and residential. Context, architecture and a deep understanding of the space is always her starting point to generate a rational interior. Along her careers, Savina Nicolini developed unique projects that are functional and dotted by handcrafted details.

Paolo Cucchi

 

Paolo Cucchi born in Parma, Italy in 1956:

- Master of Architecture from IUAV Venice University Institute of Architecture) in 1986

- Member of the International Academy of Architecture, registered at the Board of Architects in Parma, Italy no.290, ARB (Architects Registration Board) in United Kingdom no.071310D, AIA (American Institute of Architects)in USA no.30466205 and LAM (Lembaga Akitek Malaysia) AG/45P.

Founder of PCA Architecture in Malaysia, the firm operates at different levels, from the small details in interior design until the complexity of  urban planning and high rise projects. 

 During his permanence in Asia  he has taught at UTM (Univeristy Teknologi Malaysia) high rise and housing at 4th year programme, attending several conferences presenting papers on conservation and sustainability.

Filippo Pesce

 

Fully qualified registered Architect with 10 post degree years of strongly design focused experience in architectural offices in Singapore, Italy and Spain. Broad experience in the field of residential, institutional, commercial and interior, specializing in large scale complex buildings. 

 

Filippo loves photography, travelling and riding his Vespa.

Paola Ferraresso

 

An Italian Architect specializing in Interior Design, Products and styling. With a Masters degree in both Architecture and Interiors and experience in product design, Paola delivers a ‘complete design’ approach to her work with keen attention to detail and full understanding in delivering highly crafted projects.

Having trained and lived in Milan and Italian by birth - Paola’s passion for design comes across in all aspects of her work and life.

Recently working directly under Marco Corti in Singapore, Paola took design role, developing projects from concept to implementation

and managing clients.

Graduated from the Milan Polytechnic in interior and strategic design.

I luckily started my career at esterni, a very creative & young agency in Milan, working on brand experience and brand activation in public spaces.

In 2007 I moved to Shanghai as art director and brand consultant for branding agencies.

Since 2010 I’ve been working in Singapore, initially as design manager and brand experience designer in the regional office of multinational companies, now as founder of Lopelab.

Luigi Memola

Currently working as Senior Concept Designer at Stuck LTD (http://stuck.sg) Singapore and as taught part-time at the National University Singapore.

Laura Miotto

 

With 15 years of experience both as a creative director and an architectural designer, Laura has worked on a multitude of permanent and temporary exhibitions. Graduated from Politecnico di Milano, she has been living and working in Singapore since 2000. Her practice focuses mainly on heritage interpretation and design strategies in the context of museums, thematic galleries and public spaces. Inspired by local cultures and multidisciplinary collaborations she created innovative concepts and designed narrative environments that highly engage with the public. Among her projects, the Living Galleries at the National Museum of Singapore received the Design Exchange Award 2007 (Canada) and Quest for Immortality was given the President Design Award 2010 (Singapore).

Mauro Moro

 

Hassell Associate Design Leader.

I graduated university in 2002 having studied Architecture at I.U.A.V. Venice with a further academic period in E.T.S.A.S. Seville, before moving to Lisbon and starting with Broadway Malyan in 2003. 

 

I gained a Masters in Architecture at the I.S.C.T.E Lisbon reinforcing my passion for architecture. In 2012 I moved to the Singapore Office and since October 2014 I become the design leader of HASSELL studio Singapore being proactive in pushing the quality of design to a higher standard.

 

I consider myself a passionate architect, a creative thinker and a skilled sketcher. 

Eleonora Massaccesi

 

M.Sc. Building Engineering-Architecture, Politecnico di Ancona.

 

I have a full degree in Architecture and Engineering from University of Ancona - Italy.

Since my university studies I have beed interested in the architecture aspects of projects by being involved in several international workshop and architectural competitions.

After my degree I moved to London where I worked for more than four years in medium size architectural firms. During my time in London I covered different roles in which I looked into feasibility studies, tender stage and construction details. In 2014 I move to Singapore where I have been working for RSP Architects.

 

I am enthusiastic, creative and resourceful individual who is passionate in design and fine arts. Over the years I came to believe that architecture represents the perfect fusion between innovation, creation and strategy. The strategy to find the right compromise between ideas and realization. Architecture is a process in continuous evolution, strictly related to the different context and users.

 

Ermanno Cirillo
 

With a double degree in Architecture and Engineering, Ermanno is a designer with educational background and vast professional experience spanning from interior design to masterplanning.

After graduating in Italy at University of Pavia, he received a Master in Advanced Architecture from E.T.S.A.M. (Madrid) and a M.Sc. in Building Performance & Sustainability from NUS (Singapore).

Ermanno has worked in New York, Milan and Singapore, where he moved in 2010 with a Scholarship from the Rotary Foundation. He is currently leading the Design Team for a major Developer and Contractor.

His areas of interested are: relationship between form and structure, sustainable strategies, holistic design approach, real estate and large scale interventions, design theory and philosophy. 

Ermanno is a registered Building Engineer and a proud member of the Rotary e-Club 2050.

 

Elisa Massone
 

Graduated in 2010 at University of Genoa with Master Degree in Building Engineering-Architecture, she had since been focusing her interest in various aspects of built environment. Currently based in Singapore, she is now handling several interior design projects in a local firm. Her expertise covers a wide range of areas including residential, commercial, retail and healthcare. Her design approach is based on the balance between meticulous attention to details and the understanding of form and function to enhance the spatial experience.

 

Viviana Santoro
 

M.Sc. Building Engineering-Architecture, Politecnico di Milano

 

Viviana is a creative and qualified Senior Structural Engineer and Architect. She has over 4 years of experience as Project and Design Manager on a number of different, challenging and prestigious projects in Singapore and the APAC Region. Viviana’s responsibilities cover the full spectrum of a project lifecycle from competition and concept to construction. 

Viviana strongly believes in the combination of creativity and technical skills to deliver uplifting, innovative and elegant solutions. She combines a comprehensive and solid knowledge in structural design of complex structures with a proper understanding of client needs, architect’s vision, steel construction technologies and communication.

Ludovica Tomarchio

 

Ludovica Tomarchio graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a Master in Architecture has been working in Chile, Berlin, Oman and Singapore. During her studies she was involved in multidisciplinary design projects exploring urban phenomena and behaviors, data visualization and technology.  She decided to continue her research working at the edge of architecture and communication, investigating into the format of display and dialogue of architecture including the use of new technologies. Among other experiences, she worked in the Aedes Galley in Berlin and in the design studio ELEMENTAL in Chile. Currently, in Singapore, she is curating a series of events called Kilo Dialogues, looking into the local cultural scene. 

Luisa Lavezzari
 

Graduated in 2009 at University of Genoa with Master Degree in Architecture, Luisa has gained over 6 years of international experience, working as Project and Design Architect in Italy, France and Singapore, where she currently lives and works.

Sensible to the contemporary environmental context, she focuses her daily practice on the sustainable and creative design, offering innovative and fresh solutions in respect of the local peculiarities.

In 2015 she set up her company

The MONOFFICE  where she operates as freelance architectural designer and interior designer.

Passionate and motivated with restless character, she has always been inspired by Frank Gehry's quote:

 

" Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness " .

Sabino Valentino

After completing his studies in Transportation Design at Art Centre College of Design (Switzerland) and Design Academy Eindhoven (Netherlands), he founded Zero G Design, design consultancy specialized in Trasportation projects as well as Products, Branding Interiors and Strategy & Innovation for Business.

He moved to Singapore in 2009 to teach Industrial Design at NUS, set up Zero G Design Pte Ltd and followed clients in Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, China, Australia & USA.

In the past 15 years he worked on projects such as: Singapore Airlines Suites for the A380, Asiana, Peach Aviation, Citilink/Garuda, China Airlines A350, Cathay Pacific A350, Latam A350.

Valentina Letizia Beretta
 

Registered Italian Architect, with a Master in Architecture from Politecnico of Milan and Post Diploma in Museography and Archeology from the Accademia Adrianea in Rome.

Upon graduating she worked as Project and Design Architect in Milan, Sydney and Singapore, gaining 4 years of International experience in Residential, Commercial and Industrial Projects.

She believes in a social and historical approach to the city and how its relationship with human development makes places and community inseparable.
